Sharon McLeod joined BC Hydro in 2015 as an Indigenous Relations Specialist with the Indigenous Employment and Training team where she leads initiatives that support Indigenous trainees through skills upgrading, technical training, and job placement.

She also facilitates BC Hydro’s Indigenous Awareness Training and works closely with communities, contractors, and internal teams to create employment and mentorship opportunities tied to major projects.

Sharon is a member of Duncan’s First Nation, Treaty 8, in northern Alberta. She brings a lifelong commitment to Indigenous inclusion and over a decade of experience in workforce development across the natural resources sector.
