Meet Jenna:

Jenna Bower is a proud member of the Okanagan syilx Nation and the Osoyoos Indian Band. With over 16 years of experience in the tourism industry, Jenna brings a deep commitment to cultural preservation, sustainability, and community-driven economic development. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre, a not-for-profit, state-of-the-art interpretive centre and Class A Repository that protects and shares the language, history, and living culture of the Okanagan syilx People. Jenna also sits on the Board of Directors for Indigenous Tourism BC, where she advocates for respectful, resilient tourism models that center Indigenous voices, relationships to land, and long-term healing.
