Erin Flood is a seasoned entrepreneur with 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship and sustainability. Currently, she serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Canada’s Forest Trust Corporation (CFTC), leading initiatives that provide innovative nature-based solutions to combat climate change and promote sustainability. Erin is dedicated to making investing in nature accessible and impactful through CFTC’s comprehensive Smart Forests™ initiative, which focuses on land procurement, preparation, planting, preservation, protection, and promotion of forests across Canada. Her leadership is marked by her commitment to integrating Indigenous knowledge and leadership into environmental practices, fostering inclusive and effective sustainability solutions. 

As a founding member of HotSpot Parking, a successful mobile application, Erin earned recognition as one of the Top 100 Canadian Women in Tech by C100. She later founded  creative design firm GoDo that specialized in utilizing data in design to create impactful solutions for community-oriented, sustainable organizations. Additionally, she created a sustainable bag for working women, highlighting the environmental challenges within global supply chains. 

Erin actively contributes to various boards, currently holding positions on the Portage Atlantic Board and the Impact Loan Board, where funds are granted to entrepreneurs at all stages of their businesses.
