Biography
Venkat is a National Leader in PwC Canada’s Government & Public Sector practice and has over 17 years of diverse functional experience spanning strategy, operations, social impact and ESG projects. He is the Chair for the PwC’s Canadian Human and Social Services Community of Practice and
co-leads PwC’s Global Community of Interest, an international network that brings global leaders, peers and stakeholders in the social service space to develop thought leadership and share experiences in developing outcomes for the vulnerable.
He is also an Executive of the PwC Indigenous Inclusion Network which aims to create a community of Indigenous People and allies to share in experiences that will bring everyday inclusion to life, raise awareness regarding the rich, diverse and inclusive cultures of Inuit, Metis and First Nation people, and to be a positive influence on individuals, clients and the firm as a whole. As part of his engagements, Venkat has worked closely with indigenous communities, listening to their voice and ensuring their voice is reflected in the work towards improving social impact.
Venkat has been an active speaker at various conferences on social impact
and sustainable outcomes across Canada. Recently, he presented at the Aboriginal Finance Officers Association Saskatchewan Conference focusing on addressing economic health by investing in social determinants.
With a passion for driving sustainable social and economic outcomes for citizens, Venkat leads program evaluations, develops citizen-centric policy and transforms operations by incorporating global leading practices – bringing
the triple bottom line perspective to systemic societal challenges.
