Biography

Tim is proud member of Nipissing First Nation and has worked in the business services industry for more than 25 years. His roles varied from management of teams to client facing positions, in commercial banking and corporate trust services. He has experience in business development, negotiation strategies and building capacity through meaningful and respectful relationships with the Indigenous community. Currently, Tim is the National Director, Indigenous Strategies with Chandos Construction. His role involves enhancing Indigenous cultural awareness within Chandos, attracting and retaining Indigenous talent and building capacity by developing relationships that help create wealth in Indigenous communities.

Tim is a former Board member for the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation in Ontario. From 2013 to 2019, he volunteered with his community as an off-reserve Community Trustee with the Nipissing 2013 Boundary Claim Trust. In May 2019, Tim successfully completed the AFOA Harvard Business School program – Leading People and Investing to Build Sustainable Communities. Tim has been a board member with the Anishnawbe Health Foundation, in Toronto, since 2019, and also served on the Board of Directors for Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business from 2000 to 2022.

Tim always enjoys the opportunity to give back and share knowledge with Indigenous communities and provide support on their journey towards self-determination.
