Chief Gottfriedson has spent his life living on Kamloops Indian reserve and assisting to make positive changes within his community. He served as a leader in politics at all levels for over sixteen years and is well known for providing opportunities for Indigenous Peoples. At a young age, Chief Shane had a dream of one day owning his own business, today that is a reality. He is proud to say that he owns and operates four companies, from two land development companies to a medical supply chain company and a Tim Hortons franchise in his home territory. Chief Gottfriedson says, Our goal at Powwow Trail is to grow with Restaurant Brand International and be the leading First Nation owner of Tim Hortons across Canada, building restaurants in many of communities. Employing our people through hard work and a commitment that anything is possible if you believe.
