Sean Tutak joined the Hydro One team in January of 2023 as the Senior Manager of Indigenous Relations, Partnerships and Business Development.  

In his role, Sean is responsible for the negotiation and implementation of Hydro One’s First Nations 50-50 Equity Partnership Model and has been instrumental in working with Hydro One’s First Nations partners to advance a portfolio of large-scale transmission projects across Ontario. 

Sean joined Hydro One after fifteen years as a leader within the Ontario and Federal Public Services, where he led and was involved in the development of wide array of policies and legislation, the advancement of land claim and mediated negotiations/settlements, and in overseeing numerous Indigenous engagement and consultation processes. 

Sean is Haudenosaunee, a member of Tyendinaga First Nation, and a proud father of two young daughters. In his spare time, Sean enjoys woodworking and spending time at his cabin in Bancroft.
