Senior Manager of Indigenous Corporate Development
Sarah Jacknife is a proud member of Elizabeth Metis Settlement located in Treaty 6 and has Metis, Cree and mixed European ancestry. She is a Senior Manager of Indigenous Corporate Development at Rogers and supports Indigenous youth initiatives, storytelling, and partnership development. Sarah is an instructor at the University of Calgary, where she teaches graduate-level Indigenous Public Policy course, and is the Founder and Principal of Jacknife Consulting.
Before taking on this role, Sarah worked internationally in municipal government in Aotearoa/New Zealand and spent over half a decade supporting Indigenous students in post-secondary. Sarah is a member of the Canadian Indigenous Leadership Circle and the City of Calgary Aboriginal Urban Affairs Committee. She also enjoys writing, and CBC, The Global and Mail, and the Calgary Herald have all published her work.
Sarah holds a Master of Public Policy specializing in Indigenous Policy from the University of Calgary and resides in Calgary in Treaty 7.
