Richard Is a member of the Musqueam First Nation and a Project Manager for Musqueam Capital Corp (MCC), the economic development arm of the Musqueam Indian Band. As a young adult, Richard joined the construction sector away from Musqueam as a laborer/carpenter. Working with companies such as Kiewit, Flatiron, Graham, and Ledcor. Over the past ten years, Richard has developed through experience in the construction sector and has transitioned to a Project Management role within the Musqueam nation’s EcDev corporation. Combining hands-on experience with the latest construction technologies and a mindset of continuous improvement, Richard has come home to Musqueam to help realize the opportunities ahead of us.

As a recent graduate of the UBC Sauder Ch’Nook Aboriginal Management Program, as well as UBC-S Project Management program. Richard offers a unique perspective on indigenous construction businesses and how they operate within the Western business model.
