Ralph served the RCMP with distinction and was posted and served in nine Indigenous communities in Alberta, British Columbia, and the Yukon Territory. His approach to positive policing and community engagement was recognized, and he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in charge of the Gang Unit.

Ralph has specialized experience in violent criminal gang activities, property crimes, drug trafficking, and abuse. He focused on addressing serious gang-related issues, including gun violence, the narcotics trade, and numerous other emerging criminal elements.

He went on to serve as Chief of the Big Stone Cree First Nation. As an established community leader and Indigenous role model, he continues to bring significant positive impacts to each community he works with.

He continues to be held in high regard and is well respected by his friends, colleagues, and peers, both past and present.
