Empowering Indigenous Economies
Feb. 26-28, 2019
Calgary TELUS Convention Centre
Treaty No. 7 Territory
There’s an important story to be told, based on Recommendation #92 of the
“Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s ‘Calls to Action'”:
“Reconciliation must inspire Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples to transform Canadian society so that our children and grandchildren can live together in dignity, peace, and prosperity on these lands we now share.”
Some of the most significant conversations in modern Canada will take place at Forward Summit; a national, cross-industry discussion to drive meaningful change and strengthen relationships between Indigenous Peoples and the business community.
This ground-breaking, Indigenous-led event takes place in a welcoming environment where momentous roundtable discussions, workshops, and an exchange of knowledge can occur. Experienced, knowledgeable, and dynamic speakers will lead crucial discussions such as how to attract and retain Indigenous workers and build successful economic partnerships between Indigenous communities and non-Indigenous companies.
Forward Summit is a profound step towards reconciliation and a stronger Canadian workforce and economy. Participating in Forward Summit is an extraordinary opportunity for you or your organization to answer an important call; to play a healing role and share knowledge that actionably moves our country and industries forward.
