Meet Patrick:
Patrick Dinsdale, a proud member of Curve Lake First Nation, grew up in various Canadian provinces before settling in Saskatchewan. He graduated from Valley View School and Sask Polytech, and has worked in nine different industries. Patrick’s career highlights include roles in youth work, cooking, radio, arts, and the hotel industry, where he became the Front Office Manager at Elk Ridge Resort. He later joined RBC Royal Bank, progressing to Commercial Account Manager for RBC’s Indigenous Banking Division. In 2024, he transitioned to Johnston Group Inc. as National Director Indigenous Development.
Patrick is deeply involved in economic reconciliation and Indigenous economic development, contributing to initiatives like the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce of Saskatchewan and various advisory panels. He has received recognition in numerous ways, including the RBC Community Leadership Award. Patrick is committed to raising awareness and advocating for Indigenous businesses, driven by a philosophy of leaving things better than he found them. He actively participates in fundraising and awareness activities, striving to improve his community and the world around him.
