Nicole Davies is a Saulteaux-Métis (Red River, MMF citizen) cultural educator, researcher, and passionate cultural seed keeper and farmer. She is the Executive Director of Sovereign Seeds, a national Indigenous-led organization dedicated to strengthening Indigenous food sovereignty through agricultural and food product entrepreneurship, cultural education programming, and leadership amplification and advocacy. Prior to her stewardship of Sovereign Seeds, she extensively worked in language revitalization research, climate adaptation research, grassroots cultural programming, and youth and gender justice organizing,  
 
Nicole carries experience in agricultural climate resiliency and adaptation, cultural economies, land-based learning, international Indigenous rights, and domestic seed and agriculture policy analysis. She holds a masters of Indigenous Governance and is a doctoral student in Integrated Studies in Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia.
