Meet Myan:
After fifteen-year+ career in sponsorship and marketing, Myan transitioned her career to focus on corporate reconciliation, first with CIBC, leading the bank’s Indigenous Client Strategy and more recently at Scotiabank. In her current role as Director, Social Impact & Reconciliation, Myan is responsible for leading the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide Truth & Reconciliation Action Plan. Within the Truth and Reconciliation mandate, Myan is also accountable for cultivating a culture of Reconciliation within Scotiabank, strengthening community relationships, creating new channels of dialogue between Scotiabank and Indigenous communities and stewarding corporate reconciliation by positively influencing peers across within and beyond our sector. Myan is a member of the Metis Nation of Ontario and proud descendent of the Chippawa of Rama First Nation.
