Korah De Walt-Gagnon is a proud member of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc and a mother who enjoys spending her time being active and exploring the many lakes that the region has to offer.  She is the Project Manager for Taseko Mines’ Yellowhead Project, overseeing the development of the project while prioritizing collaboration with the Simpcw First Nation, ensuring Indigenous perspectives remain at the forefront. Korah previously spent over a decade with New Gold’s New Afton Mine as the Indigenous & Community Superintendent, where she worked closely with the Stk’emlupsemc te Secwépemc Nation and the local Kamloops community.

Korah is deeply passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), making her a key advocate for fostering inclusive workplaces and supporting underrepresented communities. She believes innovative and lasting solutions can be found together through creativity and collaboration.

In addition to her work at Taseko, Korah is an active member of the Board of Directors for the Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce. Her contributions focus on advancing community engagement, Indigenous relations, and EDI initiatives.
