As the Director of Training and Development at Stoney Tribal Administration, Kirsten creates and enhances training programs, researches labour market, and encourages personal development planning for employees. In addition to her role, she also identifies, writes proposals, and establishes funding opportunities for various projects in community. Kirsten is also the founder and former manager of the Stoney Nation Job Resource Center where she has built programming for community, led a team of employees, and focused on employer & industry relations. As a nation member and fluent Iyethka (Stoney Nakoda) speaker, Kirsten is passionate about strengthening capacity on the Stoney Nation by building strong partnerships in and out of her community, with a focus on training development.
