Meet Keeta:

Keeta Gladue (she/her) is an Indigenous futurist, scholar, storyteller, and professional IndigeNerd (Indigenous Nerd). Cree + Métis, Keeta brings passion, purpose, and humour to intercultural relationship-building and anti-racism through research and storytelling. She is a consultant and EDI Specialist, who builds intercultural understanding and brings systems thinking to her work in projects such as the development of Indigenous video games to the redesigning of institutional EDI strategies.  

Keeta also serves as the Manager of the Indigenous Research Support Team in Research Services, supporting community engaged ethical research at the University of Calgary. As an academic researcher, she works in post-secondary mental health and wellness, perfectionism and racial gaslighting, and Indigenizing academic integrity. A  two-time TEDx speaker, Keeta seeks to spark change and inspire momentum toward a shared future of equitable flourishing and excellence Decolonization and Indigenization.
