Joyce is a proud member of the Musqueam and Sts’ailes Nations in British Columbia, specializing in child welfare, youth development, and complex trauma. With over two decades of experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work. 

 
Having grown up in foster care, Joyce has a personal understanding of the unique challenges faced by Indigenous children and youth. She is currently pursuing a degree in Integrated Studies with minors in Kinesiology, Communications, and Psychology, equipping her with a diverse skill set to address various aspects of her work. 

 
In addition to her specialization in child welfare, Joyce has a strong financial background and works as an independent financial broker. She also offers her services as an independent contractor, encompassing a wide range of work outside of her financial expertise, including consulting, training, and advocacy. Joyce currently works alongside Len Pierre Consulting as a consultant, contributing her knowledge to various projects and initiatives within an Indigenized context. 

   
As a skilled public speaker, advocate, and facilitator, Joyce is committed to driving positive change through her work by facilitating on topics such as complex trauma, the child welfare system, and various Indigenous topics, alongside communication, emotional intelligence, and financial literacy.  Each workshop is designed to foster understanding and promote cultural safety, with a holistic approach aimed at building a more equitable and inclusive world.
