Jon Davey is the Vice President of Indigenous Financial Services at Scotiabank and a proud member of the Lower Cayuga of Six Nations of the Grand River. He provides banking and wealth solutions to Indigenous nations and businesses with the intent of positively impacting future generations. Before joining the bank, Jon was a Federal Crown and Special Advisor to the Assistant Deputy Minister responsible for Aboriginal Affairs within the Department of Justice Canada. Jon also serves as a Captain in the Canadian Armed Forces and is an Aide de Camp to the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. He holds a master of public administration degree from Cornell University, a Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a first class honours bachelors degree from Brock University. Recently, Jon was named one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40 by PwC and Caldwell Partners.
