Gwen Bridge, a member of the Saddle Lake Cree Nation, is an influential Indigenous consultant specializing in Indigenous-led conservation, natural resource management, and designing bespoke policy development for government agencies. With a deep cultural perspective, she champions the integration of Indigenous knowledge within evolving Western legislative frameworks. 

Gwen has been a visionary leader in Indigenous natural resource management, has dedicated over two decades to guiding First Nations communities towards sustainable futures. Her expertise spans land and water planning, protected areas, and policy development, with a focus on aligning indigenous perspectives with contemporary environmental challenges. 

Gwen has successfully led watershed planning initiatives with diverse First Nations, including the Mescalero Apache, Makah Tribe, Okanagan Nation Alliance, and West Moberly First Nations. Her collaborative approach has fostered strong partnerships with government agencies and other stakeholders, resulting in innovative solutions such as the Ozette Sockeye Recovery Planning with NOAA and the State of Washington. 

In recent years, Gwen has championed indigenous-led conservation efforts, working tirelessly to protect caribou habitat and old-growth forests in collaboration with the Okanagan Nation Alliance.
