Ethan Boyer is a proud Métis man and father, he comes from the Perrault and Boyer Métis family lines. Ethan currently serves as the Manager of Actua’s National InSTEM (Indigenous Youth in STEM) Program, where he supports national efforts to uplift Indigenous youth through Land-based and relevant STEM education that intentionally braids ways of knowing and being.

With an academic background in Indigenous Studies and History, Ethan’s work throughout his entire career has focused on engaging Indigenous youth across the country in programs that not only increase access to STEM opportunities, but also ensure that their identities, communities, and knowledge systems are reflected and celebrated in those spaces. Ethan is passionate about creating environments where Indigenous youth can see themselves as leaders and innovators in STEM, grounded in who they are and where they come from.
