Currently and as part of her social enterprise at Ciclomanias, she developed the First Nations Zero Waste Ambassador Program in partnership with First Nations Technical Services Advisory Group Inc. The program is designed specifically for First Nations’ K-12 grade students and teachers to minimize waste generation and to complement their curriculum through storytelling, upcycling recyclables, gardening and making organic fertilizer using earth worms.

In close collaboration with Elders and teachers of culture and language the program focuses on waste diversion practices and to learn from the traditional indigenous knowledge about the power of healing with plants, native plants used for culinary purposes and regenerative practices.
