Dan is a Vice President in the Federal Government Relations Practice in Ottawa. He has honed his public affairs expertise over a decade and a half of political engagement. He leads client files across significant federal policy issues, including energy, environment, agriculture, major Indigenous infrastructure projects, and natural resource development. 

Dan specializes in energy, including transmission, renewable projects, infrastructure development, critical minerals, and environmental policy. He has also worked with Indigenous communities across Canada to build partnerships, design policy frameworks, and expand economic development opportunities. In addition, he has helped to secure millions of dollars of federal funding for clean energy and industrial decarbonization projects. He has helped dozens of clients build lasting relationships with key federal officials.   

Prior to Sussex, he spent seven years in the Government of Canada. Dan is a long-standing and passionate advocate for multiple policy areas, including infrastructure development, expanding multimodal trade corridors, promoting the domestic tourism sector, and growing sustainable agriculture industries. He has seen every part of the legislative process, moving key pieces across the finish line at Committee and in the House.
