Curtis has over 15 years of experience in project management and stakeholder relations. As a proud member of the Alberta Métis community, he has actively collaborated with First Nations and Métis communities across Alberta and British Columbia. This includes his tenure as the Southern Regional Manager for Rupertsland Institute, where he focused on the Métis Education Training to Employment Program. 

In 2023, Curtis led initiatives for a major midstream client, establishing lasting and mutually beneficial relationships between the client and the affected First Nations. His commitment to long-term sustainability, both personally and professionally, played a crucial role in fostering constructive partnerships to achieve shared goals. Currently, as the Lead of Indigenous Relations with Canada West Land, Curtis serves as a Land Agent in the Lower Mainland for Enbridge, where he focuses on collaborating with First Nation communities impacted by large-scale projects.
