Crystal Young stands at the intersection of Indigenous values and business excellence as President & CEO of McKay Métis Group. After completing her education at Saint Mary’s University, Crystal’s career trajectory took her to the economic powerhouse of northern Alberta. There she rapidly ascended from administrative roles to executive leadership within Indigenous enterprises. Since her appointment as CEO in 2020, she has been a passionate force in orchestrating the McKay Metis Group’s most substantial period of growth; diversifying operations, forming strategic partnerships, and driving ever greater value and return for the Fort McKay Métis Nation. A recognized leader in the business community, Crystal has shared her insights on platforms like BNN and the Global Energy Show, highlighting the rising influence of Indigenous-led enterprises.​​
