Courtney Kehoe is an executive leader focussed on critical sustainability issues. She is the Director of Partner Engagement at the Nature Investment Hub, a cross-sector initiative focused on a fivefold increase in investment for nature in Canada. The Hub is focused on conservation finance and the use of  novel financing instruments that generate economic returns alongside environmental, social, and cultural benefits.

Nature Investment Hub is a Solution Space by Generate Canada in partnership with the Smart Prosperity Institute. Courtney’s experience and current focus encompasses collaboration among Indigenous, conservation, philanthropic, private sector, and government leaders.  

Courtney honed her Environmental, Social, and Governance expertise in six years as a Consultant at Stratos Inc. As a fourth generation lobster fisher in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Courtney understands firsthand the complex interplay between environmental stewardship, economic sustainability, and cultural connections to nature. This equips her with a unique ability to navigate intricate issues and appreciate the varied interests at the centre of conservation finance. Courtney has a Masters of Science in Environmental Sustainability.
