Bill Murray is a member of the Kanehsatà:ke Mohawk Nation and Director, Indigenous Markets at CIBC Global Asset Management. He is responsible for the promotion of CIBC Global Asset Management’s capabilities to Indigenous markets, and for providing institutional-quality asset management services to Indigenous communities and organizations.

Prior to joining CIBC Global Asset Management in 2025, Mr. Murray was Chief Financial Officer at Global Food and Ingredients Inc. Mr. Murray possesses over 20 years of investment banking experience focused in equity markets and covering a variety of sectors. He also has five years of experience in private equity, including a number of senior management roles.

Mr. Murray earned his Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Toronto. He is also a director of the Indigenous Growth Fund, managed by NACCA.
