Amberly Morin is the first manager of Enoch’s newly created Tourism Department. She is a member of Enoch Cree Nation and has worked and volunteered for the Nation since 2010 in various roles within Human Resources, Housing, Culture, and the Office of the Chief. Amberly planned, coordinated, and executed Enoch’s first Night Market at the River Cree Resort & Casino in June 2021, which featured local First Nation, Metis, and Inuit artisans, food trucks, entertainment, and a celebration of Indigenous culture. Ms. Morin is also responsible for implementing Enoch’s Cultural Tourism Strategy and associated Operational Plan and is a key driver within the Nation to utilize tourism as a means to support community members while welcoming visitors to learn about maskêkosihk – Enoch Cree Nation.
In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis, and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations.
