Amber Big Plume is a proud member of the Tsuu T’ina Nation and holds an undergraduate degree in Law and Society with a minor in International Indigenous Studies from the University of Calgary. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Simon Fraser University and is the Business Development and Projects Manager at First Nations Power Development Inc., an Indigenous organization that empowers Indigenous community ownership in renewable energy. Her work is dedicated to contributing to economic Reconciliation and community capacity building in Indigenous Relations. In addition to this role, Amber is an active member of the Community Futures Treaty 7 advisory committee and offers mentorship to Indigenous Post-Secondary students. With a deep-rooted Dene culture and traditional values, Amber is committed to creating opportunities that align with her values that support Indigenous communities.
