After earning his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, Aleksi began his 16-year career in construction, progressing from Field Engineer to Operations Manager for Chandos’ Civil Infrastructure Division. Over the past decade, he has played a pivotal role in growing the Civil Division from the ground up, transforming it into a thriving business sector for the company. 

Aleksi continues to be at the forefront of the industry, championing collaborative project delivery methods. Over the course of his career, he has been involved with dozens of Integrated Project Delivery and Construction Management contracts. In recent years, his focus has shifted to understanding how these types of delivery models can be used, not only to benefit design and collaboration, but to maximize community benefit at no additional capital cost to the project budget.
