The Leadership Council

Our Leadership Council brings together a cross-sectoral group of established and emerging Indigenous leaders from across Canada.

Comprised of individuals who are deeply committed to advancing economic reconciliation and uniquely qualified to work collaboratively to address the most challenging issues pertaining to Indigenous prosperity, our Leadership Council lends their time and expertise to help inform and develop the Forward Summit conference program, and advise on prioritizing specific issues within a broader subject area

The Leadership Council plays a vital role in shaping the Summit agenda, and organizing the speakers and moderators. We lean on them to educate us on the most pressing challenges and trends found between communities and industry.

What the Leadership Council does:

They help us identify emerging policy issues and provide guidance on a variety of business development challenges affecting Indigenous communities

They serve as a resource of expertise as questions surrounding specific topics arise and offer a well rounded, wide spectrum vantage point into Indigenous economies

They review the the full proposed agenda ahead of publication to provide any feedback if necessary,  and advise the conference team on who to prioritize as speakers
